Laravel & MySQL Custom Development

IMPACT UK aims to bridge the gap bewteen universities and companies by a connection bewteen academia and industry. Through collaborations between academic researchers and industrial partners, IMPACT UK expands its engagements database with the objective of spreading the awareness of impactful academic and industrial projects. Furthermore, IMPACT provides the opportunity or Universities, Students and Companies to connect and network.

The network side of the website works based on four different types of content: Company profiles, University profiles, Student/Reseracher profiles, and Engagements.

On the technical side, the web site and application side were developed with Laravel, Javascript and MySQL. Part of the requirements included designing the database according to the given constraints, developing a custom CMS for the admin content creators, creating user accounts systems to allow creating the differnt profiles, and a Search Engine with custom filters.
